One slight problem...
Nothing came my way!
I did all the things freelance translators are supposed to do, like talking to friends and family, sending out resumes, and even cold-calling once in a while... and nothing worked. Not to mention that I hated doing the sales stuff.
Why did I have to spend more time marketing than actually translating?
There had to be a better way and now that better way is available to any translator tired of never finding enough work. All you need is The Freelance Translator's Ultimate List of Translation Agencies.
First of all, this isn't a fluff book full of old suggestions and irrelavent ideas. Instead, it's a straight-to-the-point PDF file consisting of a list of almost 400 translation agencies looking for freelance translators.

To my surprise, it consists of an introductory page, then, the list of agencies and finally some four pages about tips for translators.
It is not a critic at all when I say "to my surprise". I like the layout and the fact that you go straight to the point. Freelancers need more time to promote their services and not be reading over and over the same thing.
I have bought another e-book some years ago and it did not include any list of agencies, I think your approach is more thorough and to the point.
